Key Requirements
Job offer from a licensed sponsor
A confirmed offer from a UK employer holding a valid Home Office sponsor licence, named on your Certificate of Sponsorship.
Eligible occupation
The role must be at RQF Level 3 or above (A-level equivalent) and on the list of eligible occupations.
Salary threshold
A salary of at least £38,700 per year, or the going rate for the occupation — whichever is higher.
English language
English at B1 level or above (CEFR), proved through an approved SELT test or a degree taught in English.
Financial maintenance
At least £1,270 held for 28 consecutive days — unless your sponsor certifies maintenance on your Certificate of Sponsorship.
